Google Voicemail Text Message Funny

I have a Google voice mail number. Sometimes, it has a bit of a problem interpreting the speaker. Here is a message from tonight, regarding a piece of land we looked at a couple of weeks ago.

Hello, My name is Matt, unit from Hillsborough Wisconsin, and I have a piece of land that I think. Cheep Tricks

I woke up in the night last night to a loud peeping so I went upstairs to investigate. I was afraid the door to the bedroom had opened and the cats were terrorizing the chicks or something.  When I arrived, not a “peep” could be heard.  Don’t know who the culprit was. I suspect they were daring each other to see who could get me to come upstairs in the middle of the night.

Friday Funny

Yesterday I decided to take the lining out of this basket.  It was old and stained and torn. Zoey decided I needed help with this task.  So she crawled into the basket, sat on the lining I was trying to remove, bit the scissors and nommed the leather handle ends.

She's nothing if not helpful, that little nommer!

Floppy Disk

C-baby is doing some scanning of archived paperwork for us to generate some extra cash. Today she's weeding through our old duplex paperwork and came across a 5 1/4" floppy disk labeled "Rental Application & Lease."

She picked it up with a puzzled look in her eye, put the corner in her mouth as if to take a bite out of it, flipped it over a couple of times, then looked at me and said, 'What is this?'

She's nearly 21 now.

Boy do I feel old.

Kindness - pass it on!

So my wonderful husband has joined Daymaker Movement, an organization devoted to making peoples' (and your own) life better by doing random acts of kindness.

For example, the other day he went into pick up a pizza for himself, noted the name on one of the other boxes, and said he also wanted to pay for such & such's pizza at the same time - since she was a friend of his (she was not. Or at least, I don't think she was...).

So just now I get an e-mail from him:

Papa Bear: I was just thinking about how much I love you and appreciate your influence in my life. And I wanted to let you know that's what I was thinking about.
